Our Substitute
Jesus is our substitute.
Jesus received God, the Father’s, wrath for the just punishment of our sins upon Himself in our place.
Jesus allowed Himself to be beaten so that we could be healed.
Jesus took our place.
Through Jesus we experience the great exchange. Our sin for His righteousness, His beaten body for our healed body.
Jesus was made the offering for our sin.
